A February recap

Goodbye February... Hello March!

I am a few days late, but thought I would share a quick recap of all February's happenings. I had planned on writing a monthly recap, but January whizzed passed in a haze of paperwork with my tax return due, and no one really want to read about that!

February consisted of two gorgeous weddings, lots of meetings with potential couples, and touching base with future couples, as well as a photoshoot at the tail end of the month.

First up was Kristin and Felix, who married at Clissold House, then partied the night away at Tanner Warehouse.

Then I swiftly moved onto the lovely Carlos and Greg who had a civil ceremony at Home House. Just how cute are these two?!

Unfortunately I forgot my camera for both weddings, and my iPhone has been dropped one too many times to take any decent pictures. I am waiting to see the professional photos from both weddings, and then I will blog about them both. I really want to give you guys an insight into the design process and reasoning behind the flowers. As lovely as it is to see pretty pictures on my social media, I really want to use my blog to go into more depth, and give you a look behind the scenes and the thinking involved with the bouquets and arrangements.

Last up in February was a photoshoot at Mordern Hall. I can only share a snippet of the day, as the plan is to get it featured on a blog, but it featured a lot of foliage (my fave!) and pretty blush flowers.

The month also consisted of lots of to-do lists, mood boards a plenty for future couples and a whole lot of soul searching on where i want to take my business in 2017. All I can say is March- I'm ready for you! The blossom is starting to break through, magnolia buds fat and ready to bloom and the flower market is awash with prettiness, dare I say it but Spring definitely feels like it's on the way.

Thanks for reading,
