Last week I was delighted to have the first ever photoshoot I worked on featured on Want That Wedding! A photoshoot is a great way for like minded suppliers to get together and create something fabulous and inspiring. The brief was a soft and feminine with an edgy, modernised twist. Copper and crystal details, luscious florals and contempary bridalwear all helped soften the stunning industrial style venue. I'm a huge fan of industrial venues, as they work as a blank canvas, allowing couples to add their own stamp on things, and allow their creativity to run wild! This shoot perfectly shows how you can make it soft, pretty and feminine but still retaining an edgy and cool feel.
For the venue decoration, I opted for a chunky table runner and a copper arch, made up of different varieties of eucalyptus, and the prettiest of blush flowers. I used ranunculus, anemones, roses and spray roses, all in various blush tones. The bridal bouquet also featured these flowers, arranged in an asymmetric way, to add the the edgy feel. I just love the blousey-ness of the flowers nestled amongst the foliage, with each bloom adding its own interesting texture to the arrangements.
The whole thing was shot by the wonderful girls at Bai & Elle. There is a full list of suppliers at the end of this post... But let's see some pictures first!
